Gator Rescue

Gator Country Roadshow (AKA Gator Rescue) at Spurfest 2017

Gator show times are 11:30 am and 2:00 pm.  Reptiles will also be available for pictures throughout the day!

Gator Country Roadshows are a success for fairs, festivals, and private events. The road shows typically last 45 minutes to an hour.

During the show, Gary Saurage, the founder of Gator Country, focuses on educating spectators on the importance of conservation of the American Alligator. But that's not all - they also educate on crocodiles, snakes, and other reptile. Gator Country feels it is important to educate the public of the various types of venomous snakes they may encounter while hunting, camping, hiking, and even having a fun day out in your back yard.

The Gator Country team adds some personal interaction and interactive excitement for the spectators to watch. They bring alligators, crocodiles, snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises and more. They may also set up a wading pool and allow kids and adults to interact with 2 to 3 foot alligators (and yes they would be taped up!)
